services, including anonymous site statistics. Free-hit-counters.com
does temporarily log the IP associated with a site
visitors only as a means to record a site visitor
session. This allows free hit counters to identify
you, allow users to signup and retrieve their information:
through "sessions". An Internet connection
requires that IP addresses of the Internet users
be disclosed to the servers they visit. Our systems
will be viewing the IP addresses during Internet
connection sessions. However we will not have any
viewing access to any IP addresses after the Internet
session is terminated. free-hit-counters.com does
not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable.
This means that a user's session on free-hit-counters.com
or third party sites utilizing our service will
be tracked, but the user will be anonymous.
Beacons
Our service utilizes small .gif graphic images to
track website traffic. These are sometimes called
"beacons" or "image flags",
but this practice allows us to efficiently track
and report website traffic in live time. The information
collected is entirely non- individually identifiable
information and is more appropriately termed "aggregate
information" such as: IP, browser, browser
version, referring website, search engine query
placed, screen resolution, color depth, operating
system, country, language pack, java/javascript
settings.

are my options in providing information?
If you would like to use the free hit counter, you
must provide the basic information: name, email,
and website url; optionally: sex and gender. If
you do not wish to share this information, you may
not use our service (it just won't work; us tracking
your website with no name, email contact and url!).
If you would like to receive any service upgrades
you must provide information required by our payment
processing partner, ClickBank. Your payment transaction
is directly between you and ClickBank. Free-hit-counters.com
does not store your information whatsoever. We are
notified that you have purchased a service upgrade.
If you wish to order an upgrade you must provide
the information required.
