What types of websites may use the free hit counter?
Free hit counters are available for personal and non-profit websites. Free counter service is explicitly not available to spammers, email marketers, adult websites or any website we find objectionable due to content or extremely high traffic volumes.

May I have an invisible counter on my pages?
Yes, for a small fee we provide invisible counters. Please see our upgrades page.

May the stats be password protected or non-public?
Yes, for a small fee site traffic reports may be kept private by password protection. Please see the upgrades page.

How does the free hit counter work?
A small piece of javascript code must be installed in all webpages to be tracked. Each time a person browsing the web requests a tracked webpage the counter code will communicate with our servers. Basic anonymous information about the website visitor will be recorded. Up to date hit counter stats may be accessed anytime via the Internet.

How often are the traffic stats updated?
Free hit counter stats are updated live at the moment the information is collected.

May I track multiple pages with the free hit counter?
Please feel free to track as many pages as you like by installing the counter code in each one. Please note that the free counter will record hits and visitors on an aggregate basis. For more detailed reporting including specific page stats try our Deluxe counter.

May I change the counter image displayed on my page?
