1) Access the .html code of your web page.
2) Find the free-hc tracking code.
3) Within the code, find the following line:
("./buttons/b6.jpg")
It is closer to the beginning of the code than to the end. Yours likely will have some different number than b6, unless you happen to be changing from the "Sunflower Free-HC" image (since b6 is the sunflower!).
4) Change b6.jpg (or whatever you have) to the corresponding image you would like to display. Following are the choices:
b1 USA flag Free HC
b2 Smilie face Free HC
b3 Penguin Free HC
b4 Peace Sign Free HC
b5 free-hit-counter (blue and yellow)
b6 Sunflower Free-HC
Therefore if I wanted to see the stars and stripes, you would change the code to:
("./buttons/b1.jpg")
5) The change only needs to be made in one place within the hit counter code, however if you are tracking several pages you will need to update the code one each page. | |
